README.cyrtexinfo ================= The current combinations TeX live/TeXinfo do not provide the cyrtexinfo format anymore. If you want to get cyrtexinfo, the cyrillic texinfo format, please follow the following steps: . install texlive-lang-cyrillic . add the following line to one of the fmtutil.cnf files *not* managed by Debian, that is the one in /usr/local/share/texmf/web2c or /etc/texmf/web2c: cyrtexinfo pdfetex language.dat -translate-file=cp227.tcx *cyrtxinf.ini . create a link /usr/local/bin/cyrtexinfo -> ../../bin/pdfetex . call fmtutil-sys --missing (or --all) (And maybe read the man page of fmtutil for a more detailed description of how formats are handled)
