Hi Christian
Thanks for the information. I'm sure we can somehow manage access to the so=
urces once the project setup is clear. However, as discussed this morning, =
that's exactly what needs to be defined first - also from a technical point=
of view.
OPC/UA Support in SkyBase is in a very, very, very early stage, i.e., we're=
just about to get started. In general, I'm not so sure whether or not KiCo=
nnect will be the best fit on the "lower" layers of your architecture diagr=
am - it really depends on what you're focusing on. For sure, neither ADS no=
r EtherCat Protocol adapters are already here yet and probably wouldn't be =
something the Platform provides - these would have to be developed in the T=
SS project scope as KiConnect Protocol Adapters. In any case, the connectiv=
ity layer definitely needs to be clarified in a workshop or so as we don't =
know enough about what you're trying to model here in order to give a sophi=
sticated advice.
On the upper layers, however, I'm optimistic that we could help with some a=
spects. (User Management and Access, Cloud Storage, UI Framework, maybe als=
o Parameter Store). I guess it also depends on how the deployment model loo=
ks like - our services usually come dockerized with REST APIs. If that's fi=
ne for you, I guess we can build on that.
Of course, an important aspect is your timeline. We have just committed to =
our scope to be delivered until March and are pretty well booked. Not that =
plans can't be changed, but I'd need the approval of the Platform Board if =
major efforts would be required to support here in the running months. Furt=
hermore, you told me this morning that the first systems are to be shipped =
in May, which does not leave much time for custom development on our side.
Therefore, please organize a first conf call to clarify the general setup, =
ideas and timeline. As I'm on the road most of this week and absent next we=
ek, I'd propose that we try to find a spot in KW48, e.g., on Nov 28th or 29=
th. In case it needs to be earlier, please invite Ondrej to a first session=
next week (KW47).
Many thanks
Josua

Hallo zusammen,
here you find the new architecture of the test stands.
@Josua, can we get a facility to access to all what the Kistler framewoks a=
re from outside?
@Zhixiang, Xueshang, Julien, we should step into the Kistler frameworks qui=
ckly with a few meetings,
Immediately after we have access to all the sources.
Regards
Christian
